About SVF Cloud

SVF Cloud is a cloud service for creating and outputting forms. It is based on SVF products that provide form platform solutions.

It combines the form layout created by the form layout creation tool with data from cloud services such as Salesforce or user applications etc, to create a form.

SVF Cloud is mainly composed of Print engine, SVF Cloud Manager, and Form layout creation tool.

Print engine

Combines a form layout with data to create a form. The print engine also includes the SVF output engine.

Forms can be output in various ways; you can download them as PDF files or you can print them from printer.

SVF Cloud Manager

It is a service for managing SVF Cloud. You can check the usage of SVF Cloud and set up its preferences.

The menu structure of SVF Cloud Manager is as follows.

You can check the information of SVF Cloud Agent installed on the client PC.

Form layout creation tool

It is a tool for creating "form layout" that defines the form design.

The form output method that can be selected differs depending on the tool, so create form layouts with the tool suited for the desired output method.

  • SVF Cloud Designer

    You can easily create a form layout according to various needs, such as creation of areas where the number of records decides the number of rows.

    SVF Cloud Designer includes SVF Cloud Designer Client (AIR version) and SVF Cloud X-Designer. The differences between them are as follows.

    • SVF Cloud Designer Client (AIR version)

      You can create a form layout using Adobe AIR. You need to install it on your PC.

      It is based on the on-premise version of SVF Web Designer.

    • SVF Cloud X-Designer

      You can create a form layout on a web browser.

      It is based on the on-premise version of SVFX-Designer.

    When this manual mentions "SVF Cloud Designer", the description is common to both SVF Cloud Designer Client (AIR version) and SVF Cloud X-Designer.

  • Microsoft Excel

    You can create a form layout by placing fields for outputting data on an Excel sheet in Microsoft Excel.

    It is convenient for outputting the form as an Excel file because you can create a form layout while checking the result of outputting to an Excel file.

    You can enter field information directly, but you can create a form layout more easily by using the free Excel add-in "Excel Designer" that enables automatic creation and formatting.

    Note that you have to upload the created form layout with SVF Cloud Manager.

  • Microsoft Word

    You can create a form layout by placing fields for outputting data on the page in Microsoft Word.

    It is convenient for outputting a form as a Word file because you can create a form layout while checking the result of outputting to a Word file.
