Set a printer
The printer operation is set for each PDL in "Print Settings". The items that can be set vary depending on the PDL.
There are the following two types of print settings:
Set the default operation for each PDL. The settings are applied to all printers registered in the tenant.
You can configure the settings on the
Print Settings screen.
Settings only for specific printers' PDLs
Set this when you want only specific printers to operate differently from the PDL default.
In addition, you can specify the PDL to use when printing by configuring the print settings on a printer with multiple PDLs installed. (If you do not configure the print settings, SVF Cloud Agent will automatically select the PDL.)
You can configure the settings on the
Printer screen.
Default settings for PDLs
Log in to SVF Cloud Manager.
Click
Print Settings.
In the drop-down list, select the target. If there are multiple PDLs, click the target tab.
In Locales to Show, select the check box of the target language (language specified in the Locale when creating the form layout). The languages that can be set vary depending on the PDL.
Select the check box of the target language for each item and set the details. For details on the items, see "Printer properties".
Click the Save Changes button to save the settings.
This completes the default settings for PDLs.
Settings only for specific printers' PDLs
Log in to SVF Cloud Manager.
Click
Printer.
Select the target printer from the printer list.
Click the Edit Print Settings button.
Click
to add print settings.

Enter any name.

For WebAPI, specify the name specified here in the printing parameter "preference". For details, see "SVF Cloud WebAPI Reference".
PDL
Select a PDL to use in the print settings. The PDLs displayed in the list vary depending on the selected printer.
In Locales to Show, select the check box of the target language (language specified in the Locale when creating the form layout).
The languages that can be set vary depending on the PDL.
Select the check box of the target language for each item and set the details.
If you follow the default print settings, leave the language check box cleared. (If the check box is selected, it is considered that "0" is set even if the setting value is left blank, and the default print settings are not used.)

Click
to save the settings.
If you set it as the printer default, click the Set this setting to the default button.
If not set as default, the default print settings for each PDL are used.
This completes the settings for specific printers' PDLs.
