Send forms by fax

To use this feature, you must have a contract with BizFAX provided by NTT Communications Corporation.

You can send a form by fax using "BizFAX Smart Cast" provided by NTT Communications Corporation. You can generate a PDF file in SVF Cloud and send it by fax using the BizFAX service. You can check the transmission status in "Check delivery status" of BizFAX (free optional service).

The point of SVF Cloud is consumed in the generation of the PDF file, and the transmission fee of BizFAX is charged by sending the fax.

Caution

  • For PDF files that can be sent by fax, see the BizFAX usage conditions.

  • A fax fails to send in the following cases, but BizFAX's communication fee will be charged and SVF Cloud points will be consumed:

    • The PDF file you tried to send does not meet the BizFAX usage conditions.

    • BizFAX Subscriber ID or BizFAX Subscriber Password is incorrect.

  • The document security set in the PDF file is automatically disabled when sending it by fax.

This section explains the settings for sending forms by fax.

On the preview screen, click the Fax icon and then click the OK button to send the fax.

Integration with BizFAX

Contract for BizFAX.

Apply to NTT Communications Corporation to use BizFAX.

Enable the fax integration feature of the tenant.

The integration feature will be enabled by us. Contact our support.

Register the integration information with BizFAX

Registration of integration information needs to be performed by the user with system administrator permission. If you have already registered the integration information, this step is not necessary.

Configure the following settings in icon_menu_setting.png - Environment Settings - Fax tab in SVF Cloud Manager.

Delivery Result Notification

Whether or not the results of the fax transmission are notified to the sender (email address registered in BizFAX) by email.

  • None

    Not notified by email.

  • Non-delivery notification

    Failure in sending fax will be notified by email.

  • Delivery result notification

    The result will be notified by email regardless of the success or failure of sending fax.

Create a form layout

Create a form layout of the XML file in SVF Cloud Designer. For details, see "Create a form layout with SVF Cloud Designer".Create a form layout with SVF Cloud Designer

Set SVF buttons

On the icon_menu_Button.png SVF Button Settings screen of the SVF Cloud Manager, set the following.

    Select icon_fax.png

  • Fax number

    Select the Salesforce field containing the fax number of the destination.

Caution

When you have changed the existing SVF button settings, you need to create the print button again.
