Rectangle properties ("Fill" tab)
Set the properties in Property editor. Rectangle properties are grouped into the General, Fill, and Multi-page tabs.
This section describes the Fill tab of the rectangle properties.

When filling is specified, you can specify whether to display the item transparently when it overlaps with other items.
In the column where you specify a color, you can select any color registered as a palette color in Settings - Palette color settings.

Fill pattern | Specify the fill pattern of the shape.
For gradation 1 and 4, handles indicating the gradation start and end points appear. You can change the color transition in the gradation by moving handles. ![]() |
Grayscale(%) | Specify the grayscale depth if you have selected Grayscale in Fill pattern. |
Hatching | Specify the tile pattern if you have selected Hatching in Fill pattern. |
Hatching line width(dot) (Only in graphic mode) | Specify the tile line width if you have selected Hatching in Fill pattern. |
Hatching line interval(dot) (Only in graphic mode) | Specify the tile line interval if you have selected Hatching in Fill pattern. |
Tile image (Only in graphic mode) | Specify an image file to be output as an image if you have selected Tiling in Fill pattern. Supported image files are BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIF, and GIF files. The images that can be output differ according to the printer model. For more information, see the following manuals.
From the Open dialog displayed by clicking ... on the right edge of the Tile image field, specify the file. Clicking the PREVIEW button on the right edge displays the image of the selected image file in a separate window. You can check the content in the window. |
Stretch image (Only in graphic mode) | Specify whether to print the image with the size adjusted to the size of the rectangle. Select to scale the image according to the rectangle size. If cleared, the image appears at its original size and only the area in the rectangle is output. |
Gradation start color (Only in graphic mode) | Specify the start color of the gradation. |
Gradation end color (Only in graphic mode) | Specify the end color of the gradation. |
Gradation start color X(dot) (Only in graphic mode) | Specify the X coordinate of the start point of the gradation if you have selected Gradation1 in Fill pattern. |
Gradation start color Y(dot) (Only in graphic mode) | Specify the Y coordinate of the start point of the gradation if you have selected Gradation1 in Fill pattern. |
Gradation end color X(dot) (Only in graphic mode) | Specify the X coordinate of the end point of the gradation if you have selected Gradation1 in Fill pattern. |
Gradation end color Y(dot) (Only in graphic mode) | Specify the Y coordinate of the end point of the gradation if you have selected Gradation1 in Fill pattern. |
Cyclic (Only in graphic mode) | Specify whether to set the gradation to be cyclic if you have selected Gradation1 in Fill pattern. Select this check box to specify the gradation as cyclic. |
Gradation type(single direction) (Only in graphic mode) | Specify the direction of the gradation from the start point to the end point if you have selected Gradation2 in Fill pattern. |
