Classification | Restrictions |
---|---|
File format | The following file formats are not supported:
|
Default font | Specify a font supported by SVF Cloud for Salesforce as the default font for the Excel form layout (see "SVF Cloud for Salesforce" for supported fonts). If an unsupported font is used, the form layout may be changed. There are no restrictions on the fonts that you specify for formatting text in an Excel form layout. |
If the font that has been specified as the default font in the Excel form layout does not exist in the environment where the output Excel files have been opened, the form layout might be rendered incorrectly. | |
Number of characters in one cell | Up to 32,767 characters can be entered (Microsoft Excel specification). The text strings that exceed the upper limit will be truncated. The upper limit might be smaller than the value above depending on the memory usage. |
Number of rows | Up to 1,048,576 rows are supported (Microsoft Excel specification). The upper limit might be smaller than the value above depending on the memory usage. |
Number of columns | Up to 16,384 rows are supported (Microsoft Excel specification). The upper limit might be smaller than the value above depending on the memory usage. |

Number of output digits | Up to 12 digits are supported (Microsoft Excel specification). When outputting a numerical value with 12 digits or more, it will be displayed in exponential notation. Example: 370,267,000,000 = 3.70267E+11 The upper limit might be smaller than the value above depending on the memory usage. |
Maximum number of sheets | The maximum number of sheets for an Excel form layout depends on the memory usage. |
Worksheet protection | If an Excel form layout has tags placed on a worksheet with Protect Sheet enabled cause an error during loading. |
Workbook protection | Excel form layouts enabling "Protect Workbook" cause an error during loading. |
Maximum number of lists | You can place only one list per sheet. If you place multiple lists on a single sheet, an error occurs. |
Extended lists | If you place expressions or items next to or below an extended list (extend="true"), the layout might be changed or an error might occur upon loading. |
Do not enter tag information in the cells of the heading line and the total line (the first row of the list range and the line that follows the last row of the list range). An error will occur upon opening the Excel file that has been output. | |
Multiple spreadsheet data | If you output multiple spreadsheet data without using a list, an error occurs. |
List range | The list range is managed using the Name Management - Reference Range, and it only supports the format of <Sheet name!First cell:End cell>. Only a range on the same sheet can be specified in Reference Range. |
Number of fields | You can place only one field per cell. If you place multiple fields in a single cell, an error occurs. |
Images | The following image formats can be output. However, if the format or specification is not common, those formats might not be output correctly.
|
Display position of images and barcodes | In some display environments, images and barcodes cannot be displayed at the positions specified with "padding", "verticalAlign", or "horizontalAlign". |
