Image properties ("General" tab)

Set the properties in Property editor. Image properties are grouped into the General and Multi-page tabs.

This section describes the General tab of the image properties.

In the column where you specify a color, you can select any color registered as a palette color in Settings - Palette color settings.

Properties

Description

Name

Enter the image name. By default, it is automatically and sequentially specified from "Image1". You can use alphanumeric characters, Kana, Kanji, and underscores (_). Do not use a number for the first character of the name. The maximum length of the name depends on the setting in Preferences.

File Name

Set the image data file. You can specify BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and GIF files. See the following manual for the supported formats of image files for each model.

Click ... to display the Open dialog and select an image file.

Clicking PREVIEW displays the selected image in a separate window where you can confirm the content.

Graphic mode

Specify whether to enable the graphic mode. When selected, the graphic mode will be enabled and the extended settings will become available.

Reference

The Graphic mode is displayed in Property editor when Enable graphic mode is selected in Preferences - Operation mode. This item is displayed even when the graphic mode item is set and Enable graphic mode is cleared in Operation mode.

Start X(dot)

Set the X coordinate of the upper left corner of the image.

Start Y(dot)

Set the Y coordinate of the upper left corner of the image.

End X(dot)

Set the X coordinate of the lower right corner of the image.

End Y(dot)

Set the Y coordinate of the lower right corner of the image.

Image type

Set when to specify an image file.

  • Set file name during design

    Holds the image file name in the XML form file.

    Upload image files to "other" folder in the icon_menu_resource.png Resource screen in SVF Cloud Manager.

  • Set file name during printing

    When designing an XML form file, specify the image file to output at runtime without having an image file name.

Print size

Specify whether to change the image size to fit the area size of the image.

  • Variable

    Displays image data according to the image area.

  • Fixed

    Prints image data created at 400 dpi in original size.

  • Variable with fixed aspect ratio

    The image data is displayed according to the area size of the image while maintaining the aspect ratio of the image data.

Rotation angle (Only in graphic mode)

If you rotate the image, specify the rotation angle. You can specify a value in the range of -359 to 359. You can also rotate the image by operating the handle. For details of the procedure for rotating an image, see "To rotate an image".
