Adjoin the start/end points of item and the frame of nearby item (Fit mode)

If fit mode is selected, the start and end points can be automatically aligned with the frame of adjacent ruled lines, rectangles, and subform when placing ruled lines and records. This is useful such as when creating a table border, or when placing a record within a subform frame.

This section describes the procedure for switching fit mode on/off.

Procedure

  • Click the Fit mode setting box (sxd10_i255.png or sxd10_i254.png) on the tool box at the bottom of screen.

    Click sxd10_i255.png to turn it on, and click sxd10_i254.png to turn it off. Display and behavior of the Fit mode setting box are as follows.

    When an item approaches a rectangle, the start and end points are automatically aligned with the nearby ruled line, rectangle, or subform frame.

    sxd10_i255.png OFF

    You can place items at any desired position.
